This was my first trip away with my boyfriend and it did not disappoint. Domus Julia was a beautiful hotel with a perfect location. Upon arrival we got our room upgraded - a surprise we were extremely grateful for. As well as this, the rooms were spotless and staff were super friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome, not only couples.

Quirky boutique hotel in the centre of Rome

We were disappointed with our room initially as very small and not atall what we were expecting. After our first night of three we decided to ask for an upgrade. The gentleman on reception was extremely obliging and changed our room to one with more room, a larger double bed and a huge bathroom. We have now had a far better time and enjoyed our stay at Domus Julia. We would definitely return to the same room when we come to Rome again next year.

I was a little sceptical about this hotel because compared to other hotels in the area, it was a lot cheaper. I thought they’d be skipping on something, but I couldn’t be happier with the hotel I chose. Our room was a superior double and very spacious with a good bathroom. The staff were very friendly and the location is perfect for the Trevi fountain, as well as other beautiful sights of Rome. I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed in Domus Julia for 3 nights during our Roman vacation in December. The location is amazing as domus is situated only 3 minutes walk from Trevi Fountain and same from metro station or 10 minutes from all other attractions. but at the same time is secluded from busy touristic streets, so was quiet at night. The check-in was very fast and they let us get into the room a bit before the time shown on the website. Probably the only minus of this place was that in 3 nights they didn't change the towels even once and there were no toothbrushes.

Right in the very centre of Rome, a pleasant and cosy hotel - comfortable rooms, clean, good facilities. 5 Minutes walk from the Trevi-Fountain, 10 to the Pantheon, 20 to the Forum Romanum... Highly recommended.
